Even if transponder equipped, who is going to remember to squak 4600? (WHEN the box is active... um, another thing to try and check? Unless you HAVE to go there, I recommend stay clear, why not?

A little off-topic I know but can someone clarify this for me?
FAD200.jpg
This is off the WCMC website and agrees with the image below off the AIP S067-10 describing Stellenbosch GF FAD69 that the Southern tip of the FAD200 conrresponds with the southern tip of FAD36 around Koeberg. Right?
FAD200_2.JPG
Now, ... is the map of the area below still the old FAD200 or am I bombing straight from Morningstar to Big Bay on 125.8 through the Delta 200 when I should be on 124.4? I seem to think the southern boundary is the road from the N7 to Melkbos. Am I wrong?

I dont want to assume anything... ( as a wise instructor pointed out to me once when I assumed he would know the ground frequency at FAJS and I had to ask the tower... he wrote on his clip-board ASS/U/ME and hung his head in shame...

The bottom pic do not represent the current boundries. That is only to show the "box" (what ever, when it's open   when ever) for contermanskloof as per the AIP.

Anyway, your understanding of the freq is correct.

No worries Morph, encountered a white Robbie west of the field on 124.4 the other day and thought maybe I had got it wrong. Thankfully it seems not

So this is where it started vhpy . I say this because in the near future when every microlight in the Western Cape will need a transponder i have the history of where it all began vhpy .
I sometimes get confused............But i'm not sure
