I can also recommend Microland. One of the best schools around, with an impeccable safety record. See if you can get Mervyn as your instructor.

Hi Guys

I recently moved to Secunda after graduating. I have my MPL and is rated on the Raptor, Aquilla and Bantam.
I have seen some microlight operating in the area, and would like to get involved in the local flying community?
If there is any members in the area, please send me a PM.

Thanks

Frederik

Hi All,

Wow, what an awesome weekend...here in the green kalahari we are getting really hot weather at the moment, however on saturday morning I flew the 25 miles in from Sishen (FASS) to the Hotazel strip, HMM Manganese mines private strip, where I work. Yes I had to work on saturday, hoping I would only be needed for 2 hrs or so thereby giving me ample time to fly back before it gets to hot and windy. Well I managed to take off again at 12:30 and let me tell you, thermals are scary...what a bumpy ride home...but still better that a car...

Just thought I would share some of my experiances here in the Northern Cape. Enjoy and safe flying.

Gary

Why don't you get guys together (both fixed wing or weight shift) and fly up to us! We can make a lekka little trip out of it! Namibia is a great place to fly and the destinations are endless! I still promised eddie I will visit him on his farm near Aranos one day, well I think its time I do! I think it would be nice to get a couple of trikes, gyro's and LSA's together!
Watcha think? Just a idea! ($$) ($$)

Proud new owner of Raptor 582 at Panorama!!! Can't wait to take her up, but first all the PAPERWORK!

Now, do anyone know of someone that has an "E" box for the Rotax 582?
