Hi All

Ok here is my dilema, well actually its hardly a dilema as such. I still have approx 20 months left in South Africa before my planned return back to Oz. I thought whilst I am here I may as well do my PPL/NPL licence. I have been scanning the classified sections for a while now, there seems to be three real aircraft that would fall into my budget < R250 000. These aircraft include Bushbaby, Kitfox and the Cheetah, I had hoped to purchase an aircraft and complete my training use it for the duration of my stay and then sell it off before I head home. If you were in my position what would you buy? Alternatively if someone else is also looking at purchasing any of the aircraft and is a little short on cash, I may be in a very good position for a short term partnership with the addtion of finance on very good terms. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Darren

I would go for the BB or the Kitfox, simply because the are taildraggers. Will be a better pilot. That said the R230K cheetah is a good buy.

As to which one. GO FLY ALL THREE AND DECIDE FOR YOUSELF> They all have + and - (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)
4 Sale (will trade)

WHy buy an aircraft? Would be cheaper to pay school for lessons including aircraft and fuel. Then after you get PPL rent and fly on weekends. Lot less hassle.
Contact Piet or Corne at Aviators Paradise for really well priced PPL training. PM me and I will send you their contact details.
Where you returning to in Aus?
