Thanks for the feedback Tailspin..........please tell me in your oppinion what engine choice is not advised and what is advised for this airframe. I love the airframe its awsome but think that perhaps could be a little heavy with the VW . Would a jab 2200 work or maybe to litle power?

I would go for the Jabbi 3300 - but speak directly to steve he is in springs if i am not mistaken.
Remember the SB2 is a copy with mods of the KR2 so she is a nice cruiser.
i watched that bird fly but never got a chance to fly in one, still also want to get a buzz in a KR2 aswell.
Have you looked at the BX2 CHerry also a very nice aircraft (maybe my next proj - really a toss up between that or a CRI-CRI)

The CRI CRI doesn't appeal to me but the other arie ( forgot the name now) is nice . I have Steve's number and will try to get hold of him tonight.

I just received a email from FFP they are asking $10500 for the complete Super Koala kit. Going to get a quote on shipping

I have spoken to Steven Boshof and he recons the SB2 should be awsome with the Jabi 2200 as his 2ltr VW turbo is giving him between 60 and 65 hp so 85 sould be awsome. Further more we discussed the cost to build the airframe and it is very affordable so this will most likely be the airie that I will build Steve even has a partialy built kit for sale so thats also an option.
