The MISASA AGM is to take place tomorrow morning Saturday morning the 17th of October 2009 in the EAA Auditorium at Rand airport.
The full MISASA AGM Agenda is on our website www.misasa.co.za
Please note that a few committee members have indicated that they are not available for re-election. Your attendance is thus encouraged. It is likely that the incumbents holding the offices of Chairman, Communications and Treasurer will not stand for re-election.
Robert Gassman our current Treasurer has proposed Donald Hicks for appointment as Chairman and this has been seconded by our current Chairman Alex Rudd. Donald is a trike and 3 Axis Light Sport Plane pilot who lives in Durban. He currently heads the MISASA development portfolio on the Committee.
Should members wish to nominate other people for appointment to any post on the Committee they should send such nominations to Alex Rudd including written acceptance by the appointee, the proposer and seconder. Alternatively provided the proposed person is in attendance at the AGM such person may be so proposed and seconded for the consideration of those in attendance.

Well folks , another year has come and gone , Yours truely has to step down due to work and family issues , but a compitent Donald Hicks will be leading the Tribe.
Robert Gassman has hung up his gloves as well , and the new Bean counter is Brett Hickman.
Rowena and Deon Kraidy (the Kraidy Bunch ) will continue as the technical dept as well as Training with Mervyn Reynolds as Shadow .
Larry Eshner has stepped down as head of competitions , but in place we have Mervyn Reynolds assited by Shaun Schouten who will be hosting Gauteng championship soon.
Rob Mc Fie will remain head of events and will assist Jay Hyde as PRO portfolio .
Alan Mckenzie will remain editor of your favourite magazine .
Rudi has retired as head of IT/ Communiction but Sias Dreyer has promised to tke care of this portfolio .
Development has been left in the capable hand of Donald Hicks .
Alex Rudd and Mike Beukman will take care of the safety portfolio for the next year.
There was a proposal to increase your subs for the new year , but more decisions will be taken at the next committee meeting , present subs dont even cover the magazine ,
Ps the mag was handed out at the AGM
Please support me in wishing the new committee the best of luck for their new term in office and the outgoing members a great thanks for their dedication and time and effort spent in ensureing that MISASA goes from great to even greater
Regards Alex Rudd Leprachaun
