1:500K map
Looks like only the eastern area is outside and a small section on West? (I don't know the area at all)

CAA must stop making tea-time rules. If it is not written into law it is not law.

Common law would be that the 1:250 map will over-ride the 1:500 map for obvious reasons. In construction law a detail drawing will always over-ride a general floorplan. Why else would the map creators have created a 1: 250 ? To avoid "gray area" debates of course.

Nee, weet nie veel meer nie, net dat "iemand" aan die trike gewerk het, toe die engin gestart het wat ongelukkig full throttle was, en dit sonder die vlerk....
Niemand het seer gekry nie

Not so obvious. I would enter a suggestion that the map that you are meant to have on board would be the one used in determining if you overstepped a boundary. If I recall correctly - it is law to have a 1:1 000 000 aero map on board of the area you are flying.kloot piloot wrote:Common law would be that the 1:250 map will over-ride the 1:500 map for obvious reasons.
