I believe they employed Stanley Kubrick to direct it all...

Re: Who believes the moon landing was a HOAX?
There is no way it was a hoax!
I have very good friend who was involved with the tracking of the spacecraft, helping with the communication when the craft was below the horizon to the USA and relaying telemetry.
No, many things you can fake, but not the direction and point of origin of radio/tv signals. Remember the whole world, including the Russians, tracked the flights and decoded the telemetry, if they found anything suspicions they would have raised more noise than you can imagine!
Then there is also the little point of the laser reflectors on the moon, at the exact landing spot, that are still functioning...
No, sorry, the conspiracy bunch only fool some
Many of their "facts" are ill informed and shows a bad understanding of the basic scientific principals of space flight.

Hi Guys,
Go to the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. You WILL return a believer! The landings took place, no doubt.
Cheers

P.S. I know too little to give an opinion.

I heard on the TV the other day that China and India have decided to send their own man to the moon. The Americans, suddenly came back and said they too would be sending a man to the moon. hmmmmmmm, maybe to plant evidence quickly

Did you guys see the footage on TV Sunday evening on Carte Blanche, when they showed the Zambian guy that started with his own space program, just after the first moon landing. It was hilarious. While they interviewed him, the 10 chosen ones - future space cadettes - was busy with their training in the background, doing star jumps, push-ups and pushing each other on swings to get used to the "feeling"
The interviewer made some crackpot remark after the interview to the camera. Really funny.

Re: Who believes the moon landing was a HOAX?
All those conspiracy theories! Whilst entertaining reading those guys went to the moon...if you have had the fortune of visiting the Kennedy Space Centre you will realize the size and scope of the Lunar missions, it's incredible stuff and if the missions to the moon did not happen, the truth after 40 years would certainly have come out…
Walking around the Kennedy Space Centre one realizes just how amazing the technology was, even in the 60’s. Been there on 4 visits, and I’ll go for more….
The size of the complex is awe ispiring the equipment on display the size of the Saturn rocket that took the men, one really will not believe how huge it is over 10 stories high, the 5 engines 3 men can stand head on shoulders in each...
Believe what you may but for me as a kid listening on the radio, doing a project about Apollo11, and then growing up and eventually visiting the Space Centre and flying in the same airspace that the Apollo crews operated in is just bloody fantastic. I felt like an “astronaut in training kinship” when I got my US commercial at Space Coast Regional airport Titusville, just across the Banana river from the Space Centre I felt part of the vibe….and it felt good and still feels good, for me it’s why I got into flying The Wright brothers and the Apollo missions, two ends of the spectrum with a whole lot more to come, it will fascinate me and pump me up as long as I breathe.
Met a couple of astronauts too, their credentials are amazing, most are experienced fighter pilots, test pilots with PHd's in the sciences, incredibly capable individuals, with thousands of hours flying some pretty advanced equipment

Been to Universal Studio's in LA. After standing in the queue for the ride I believed "Back to the Future" was real
I mean they had the car there and everything. And then there was that Terminator thing.
right there preserved in that glass case

Re: Who believes the moon landing was a HOAX?
I don't know Morph, as I said above one must believe what one believes, looking at the overall picture with the US air Force, NASA, and the Navy, the technical ability certainly was there.... flying to the moon was really not a problem the biggest challenge was leaving earths atmosphere then and without the earths atmoshere present on the moon routing thru space and entry into the moons gravitational force was not an issue really, the final descent was dicey but gravity being a sixth less than earth power was aplenty, getting back into earths atmoshere was the next toughest challenge, one of the astronauts commented that a Naval Carrier was almost as tough to get operational....
I'm really not sure why people notably pilots would want to dismiss the Lunar mission and landings as never having happened, would they feel better if they did not? Or would they feel better if they had? Why not dismiss the whole NASA program then? Do the shuttles really go into space...
For me personally I've explored on a US Navy Naval Carrier gaped in awe at their size and sophistication seen a Shuttle launch, have no reason to believe they did not land and walk on the moon....
And chatting to the astronauts, very ,very quickly one realizes the scope and depth of their knowledge and abilities, they are not "regular" pilots but exeptional aviators, if anybody could they could - and did!

Re: Who believes the moon landing was a HOAX?
I always kind of swayed towards the hoax theory, especially after reading 'Nasa mooned the world'.
Then Mythbusters debunked all the hoax theories and only then was I convinced that they did actually go to the moon.
Ok ok I do watch mythbusters and enjoy it... so shoot me
