Postby Koevoet » Wed Mar 18, 2009 8:51 pm

Does anyboby know what happen to the Radio Controlled club (Fisantekraal) near Durbanville.

Did they closed - why? or moved - where to?

Only see the RW - every thing else gone.

Used to go and watch them on weekend.

Due to complaints from the people in the suburb, and a few "harmless" incidents, they moved to a new spot close to klipheuwel.

Bluemanscoops now where it is, maybe he can post the co-ords for you. :? :?

Some trikes from an undisclosed airfield nearby landed on the new radio control airfield the other day and sank into the thin asphalt layer  They shall remain nameless (**)

Its just north east (about +5-7 km) of fisantekraal on the right of the Stellenbosch/Klipheuwel road. Saw it from the air the other day.

Len

PS wasnt me that landed there, I dont fly trikes.
