Hi Gert,

Try http://www.vfrplanner.org/app and follow the link to Gps Tracking. No registration and tracks are viewed by all in real time!

It will be great if you and others could test it and give some feedback and suggestions to improve the functionality  At this stage the google map auto tracking works fine in the new Google Chrome browser, still some issues with IE

I had aquicklook at VFRplanner and the tracking option. The cell software does not seem to find the GPS (while all other programs do at the current location). It did, once for a couple of seconds. I will try again later.

I get the following error. Does any one of you also get this error?

I also cannot connect to the live tracking at all. At odd times I get the cell connected and can see the tracks on that, but nothing on the PC at home. Anyone got any answers?

Thanks Gert, the idea with the site is to expand functionality for aviation only "plan it, fly it, track it" We should get our approval for the use of the SA aeronautical maps soon.

I`m testing the software with a N95 and the Nokia Navigator which work fine, obviously we would appreciated some feedback on other phone types, saves me the costs in getting a contract on each phone type :?

Apologies for jumping in on your topic which is not GPSed related  maybe we should continue the discussion on viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9757
