Hi Andrew,

Just a "normal" crosswind landing in a wind that seemed like 20knots westerly (probably more like 15kts) coming over some port jacksons. The result for the first attempted landing was a go around!!

25 January 2009

A foggy morning to start off, but beautiful flying - 2 hours.

Dirk and myself took his friends (Dirk - let's call him Dun Dirk, and Tersia) for some local flying. They are hooked, and are considering their training, and I could see them thinking how to budget for that trike.

See http://www.zu-dve.com for the route (log)

Despite some wind (the province, not me) got some flying in this morning and yesterday. This week I will rig ZU-DVE's wing (or rather I will follow Dirk's instructions and be in the way while he help me), so should be in the air by Wednesday.

After 2 weeks of a wingless DVE I got to fly her today. What a difference to the wing!

This graph is the altitude in blue, and the vario in green - see that climb!

Also see http://www.zu-dve.com for today's log.

Kameras hou my net so lank soos selfone. My benadering is as jy 1000 fotos neem, is een OK. So geen geheime nie...
