Oom Paul, just look carefully at the East London Airspace from a flying perspective... Also contact Bryan on the forum (He started the discussion on Night flying) he is based at Wings park just outside East London, and I am sure he would be happy to have you visit him there...

My personal take would be that you would require a runway that is far more flat and level than those of our average microlight strips... That coupled with proper runway lighting, PAPIs and the like and you could do this safely... The biggest problem I see the powers that be having with the whole con...
