Best one I've seen yet was a pic of a guy in a Piper Cub who had his bed & matress tied spanwise to the top of his wing. He actually flew it to his destination like that.

A headwind would be my biggest concern for fuel purposes - at this stage it's forecasted as being light so should not effect too much.
