Hi Carl - It happened to me once and my throttle cable would stick a bit and not close fully. This would just leave enough revs to make you float that little bit further.
I can attest for Carl a pesceterian (not a religion) - no fat around his midriff.

Re: Go / no go - how to calculate obstacle clearance

The temperature of 35 °C is 24 °C greater than ISA so the density altitude variation due to te...

I used to be a road runner but switched to trail running about a year ago (almost like mountain biking on your feet vhpy ) . Will try and enter one of the multiday events like AfricaX towards the end of the year. Your recipe for feeling good is spot on, try exercising and you will feel a lot more en...

Re: Rotax 914 Oil
Hi Oz I've just done a service on my 912 ul 80 horse with the new oil from comet. My CHT now run instead of between 90-100 at 115-120. Can the ELF oil be the cause? I was going to change the coolant but maybe try and get VSX and change back. I'm at Panorama and still have some of the oil if you want...

Re: Flying to Panorama WTF!!!!! Info please
Welcome to Panorama Piet, I think we can nominate you as the new wind dummy If there are high level winds the ridges to the west and north of the field can create some serious rotor. When you get off the highway at Kliprivier check what the wind is like that is about circuit altitude.
