Check the wires om the Rh kill switch, somewhere it can be through to the airframe, touching intermittently, causing the problem, all the kill switch do is to "short circuit" the magneto to ground when you switch it off. I suppose one of the Rh mag wires somewhere get in contact with the frame somew...

Thanx, does not have to be a Cheetah, just trying to determine the avg going rate for training on a 912 powered LSA aircraft as I get the idea someone is trying to take me for an expensive ride.

You can speak to Boet on this forum, he will probably tell you that it is only good to be used as a boat anchor but many others will have a different opinion on that..

Unfortunately part of this is to blame on CERTAIN instructors, and please this is no generalisation at all, I know of more than 1 Student pilot that was so excited about Microlighting that paid for their instruction and kicked of with a bang only to be dissapointed everytime they want to make an app...
