Sometime somewhere someone is going to do something wrong by speaking, suddenly flying with new engine/instruments etc. The light aircraft flying community is small and all speak and look.
Hope it happens soon.
Makes you scared to do fly inns-your gps.radio,headsets etc.

Previous aerie had all digital.Now all analogue.Much better.Your eye catches any instrument from witch the needle is not in the normal position after getting used to your ist panel without looking directly to the instruments.In digital you have to move your head and physically read each reading.

THE EGT SHOWS YOU HOW LEAN/RICH YOUR ENGINE IS RUNNING.THE BING CARB ON 912 HAS THE ALT COMP BUT YOU STILL CAN CHANGE JETS AND SHIFT THE NEEDLE UP OR DOWN BMO THE CIRCLIP.THESE CHANGES WOULD GIVE DIFFERENT READINGS ON THE EGT

I SEE IN THE ROTAX OP MAN AND ALSO ON THE ROTAX e LEARNING MODULE THAT THEY GOT THE OIL COOLER IN THE SUCTION SIDE.WOULDNT IT BE SAFER AND MORE EFFICIENT ON THE RETURN TO THE OIL TANK SIDE? 912 exhaust cracks I had a 80hp Cheetah which on 127hrs cracked no4 exh pipe.At 145 hrs no 3 cracked.With the new owner no 4 again cracked on 200hrs. I currently fly a 100hp Tecnam which cracked the pipe out of the silencer after 14hrs. There is a slight prop vibration when throttling back between 4...
