Re: My Aquilla keeps pulling left with new fairing
I have read on the BMAA forum (if I remember correctly) that when P&M developed their first touring screens for their trikes, they found that even a very small change in the size and shape of the lexan could make a big change in handling characteristics of the trike concerned. Hence the long time it...

Re: Which Prop?
Interesting reading.
Just for interest - Bolly now produce the Brolga blades here in Oz. There are still a lot of Airbornes flying around with the prop. Only problem is that it is just so ugly.................

Re: Twisted flying wires
The twists in the wires and the wires being so tight on an Aquilla 2 wing are there for a reason. They prevent the wing from being over stressed in turbulence. Every time an Airborne driver over here sees my trike, they flip - all the Airborne trikes have wires that are well separated and hang a bit...

Re: Which Prop?
If I remember correctly they are produced by a fairly small company in the Ukraine. When I first bought my Aquilla in 2004, it was fitted with an Aero(s?) prop. Unfortunately two of the blades were badly dinged which I did not pick up on until after the money changed hands  - the previous owne...

Re: Which Prop?
I fitted a three bladed Bolly prop to my Aquilla a couple of months ago. I have always flown with a P-Prop before that. My perception is that the Bolly produces more thrust and is more "balanced / smoother". My main concern has always been what effect the weight of a P-Prop has on your gearbox and e...

Re: Prop beskerimings net
http://www.punkinheadair.com.au/accessories/ also does stoneguards. Give Dianne a shout - I am sure she would be able to make one up for you. She has made covers for an Aquilla trike over here before so is prepared to make up "non-standard" items. $77 for the stoneguard according to her website. So ...
