Re: Tandem vs Side by Side; Perfect vs Ideal.
Somehow I think we are being lied to!  ## I saw that there was a Trixy Aviation G4-2R at Kitty Hawk, painted white on the one side and camo on the other. Built in Germany. So there are not only the Calidus, Arrow or Sycamore that come with tandem enclosed cockpits. I take note! vhpy ........

Re: Tandem vs Side by Side; Perfect vs Ideal.
Thanks Len for the feedback, burst another bubble for me though! vhpy Because of our winters I am not keen on any open cockpit machine. I then presume it would not be a problem teaching me in an enclosed cockpit one, as long as it is side by side? Come on FLYNOTE, tell us which one you are lo...

I read all this with a lot of interest! Still trying to wrap my head around the prices of these machines though.
Would the Calidus or Arrow Copter be OK to train an ab initio gyro pilot with?

Re: Los Angeles (LAX) Night Landing!
The best is that you are allowed to fly directly overhead it with your small aeroplane, I did so (VFR) in a Piper Warrior on my way to Santa Paula Airport.wiskeyfoxtrot wrote:Thats one seriously BIG airport !!.

Re: The Rotortec Clouddancer project
Wow, that blue and black one looks stunning!!
What is the difference between the 2 and 4 bladed ones, seeing that the 4 bladed one has now flown?
What would the price for the II be, and what is the 19% MWST, a tax? Would that be applicable when exporting?

Re: GYRO'S DO'S AND DONT'S - EXPERT ADVISE PLSE
Thank you Gyrosa. Highly appreciated. I am not a low time pilot but just wanted to get clarity on a few pointers. So what I get from your advise on emergency landing is to glide her down to roughly a meter or 2 and then dead stick to break the forward speed before landing where ever you are (rough ...
