Re: Advice on doing LSA

@Dylan: Why don't you just make a vist at Petit Airfield. Say hello to Stefan /Juan / Nicolene. Do a flip in a serious plane (Safari), and then talk with Stefan about training, planes and costs. http://www.fun2fly.co.za/ But: I have to admit, I am guilty of being unilateral positive minded towards ...

Re: Let's talk about ATTITUDE

I think the guy flying a toddler and a pax was way out of bounds. Imagine if anything happened, just think of the image that would portray again of the thugs flying microlights. ## Exactly.... Can you imagine the newspaper headlines......MOTHER AND CHILD KILLED IN MICROLIGHT......with the emphasis ...

Re: LANDING'S

Thanks Pit Bull. It is interesting that you say that we must use rudder to manage direction on approach. I would be interested to hear other comments on this. I have been drilled to use coordinated rudder and aileron inputs (I know a tail dragger is a little more tricky). Obviously if one is on the ...

Re: Advice on doing LSA

No problem Dylan. Its quite scary to think that you are only 1 year older than my eldest son   Makes me feel old (**) It is great to see that you have a passion for flying so early on though as many of us wake up when we are too old  You can purchase an aerie without a pilots li...

Re: Advice on doing LSA

In terms of age I think you can only get your SPL (studen...
