Re: Windlass Trike for Sale

SOLD! To me.

I am making this my personal build project.

I CAN get a "flying" trike for R30K, but I am truly intending a complete rebuild of all major components.

When I am done, I want everything that moves to be brand new.

Thanks, Chris. Looking forward to it.

Guess who's back?

Ok.

After many years, I eventually bought my first aircraft.

Nothin big or fancy - it's an old aerie with very low hours - a Windlass Trike - that I am going to rebuild as an ongoing project.

Feel free to engage with me again.

Thanks all.

Guess who's back

Yes, folks... I am back on the Forum after a long absence. I have been very busy, but there is good news. I am now staying at Hartbeespoort, so to all the kind folks we met at Harties with the little ForensicFlyer Fly-in/visit, we should do it again! Great to be back and we will surely all meet agai...

Aerial Images - Umtata

Hey guys... I know it's been a while, but I might need your help. I am investigating a collision (road traffic) that occurred at the Mthatha Shell Ultra City. For the purpose of the analysis, I need some aerial photographs of this gas station. Is anyone near there, or could anyone help? The better t...

Sincerest best for all of you for 2007. I must say - I have made some fine friends here in 2007. May we have NO aviation-related accidents in 2007? I have a suggestions to ALL of you pilots for 2007: Why don;t you play a game. We'll call it ASSASSIN... In 2007, imagine that there is an assassin that...

Busy year with accidents...

Guys and girls, I just want to recommend that you drive very carefully this Christmas/holiday season. As (always) expected, this year is no better than any others before. As you all know we're on stand-by for the National Department of Transport as one of five teams for the attendance and investigat...

Jump Seat...

yah - Been there as well!

Those guys are awesome!

But I must tell you that the "open-door policy" is a VERY good way of keeping passengers...

I now REFUSE to fly ANYWHERE but on 1-Time...

Here are my pics...

Bad Hardvard Experience...

Guys, When I read some complaints about the Hardvard Cafe at Rad Airport, I was somewhat sceptical. Surely, the place can't all that bad. I met old Bo there a while ago and we had a nice time, as I went for a flight with old RV4ker... Then I was called to rush to the scene to investigate that accide...

Aircraft Repairs...

Thought you might enjoy these: Remember it takes a college degree to fly a plane But only a high school diploma to fix one. Reassurance for those of us who fly routinely in our jobs. After every flight, Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe Sheet," which tells mechanics about problems with ...

Sony vs Canon

Guys and girls, After taking more than 500,000 photogrpahs with various cameras over the years (of accident scenes, of course), I think I have a good feel for this stuff... We first used a Sony Mavica with a stiffy drive - crap. Then we used two Fujifilm 2800 zooms and two Fujifilm A201's. These thi...
