Re: Zebula airshow 11-12-13 april

Howzit Piet

We have not made any plans. It will be on Friday afternoon and I will only be able to leave at about 5.

My house is right next to the runway down at the 26 end so any microlighters up there welcome to come over for a dop.

Re: Hanger space - non payment tenants.

Legally there is a term called the "landlords Hypothec"

This allows you to take possession of assets in the leased premises and if not paid to dispose of them to recover monies due.

Re: Glyding range of aircraft

Planes with the engine in front will definitely glide a lot further. FACT This is due to the fact that most planes with the engines at the back are trikes (and gyros) and as we all know only real men fly trikes (and gyros). FACT Planes with engines in the front are generally flown by pilots that ar...

Re: Just as a matter of interest --

Its economics 101. Simple supply and demand that determines the price. Normally when prices are high and excessive margins are being made it would attract other entrants into the market for a piece of the pie. So who is making the margin? Rotax Austria or the local agent? The cost of the engine kit ...

JULY WTF (**) (**)

No public holidays in July!!

Plus my financial year-end so that will count me out of all future Numbi events.

Why the change from September? Public holiday is 24th which is a Wednesday so can choose one of the two weekends either side.
