Re: Scratch build a Trike
Wow your analisys pictures really make me reminisce of my study times at US. Its really awesome to see such design work. There are always better engineering solutions for a problem and its very gratifying to see pure engineering principles being applied. Makes me want to go back to university to lea...

He will be very interested to try OTT out when the time is right. I am actually very proud of him for safely handling the emergency la...

Re: Waiex Project
Thanks for the info Larry Also dont know what happened to the Zim plane. I know the CAA were very sticky about letting it fly here in SA. That Sonex (conventional tail) had a trim-tab on the elevator (like a Cessna does) , but the bowden cable and mechanism in the cockpit was a bit dodgy. I presume ...

Re: Waiex Project
Thanks for the info Larry Looks really good! (^^) About 18 months ago I spoke to Vladimir of Rainbow aircraft. He was housing a Zim registered Sonex with a J3300 motor which was for sale at the time and did about 6.5 hours in it. At that stage he was actually very impressed with it saying that it pe...

Re: Building the new Bushbaby SAFARI

My only concern would be that it gives one the opportunity to overtighten the fuel cap - and possibly damage it.(I know you wont - but someone who is less technically inclined may do so) I suggest that you make the handle as short as possible to limit the moment ...

Re: TOYOTA YARIS ENGINE
Welcome Diesel dog! thanks for sharing the initial progress on jour project (^^) . It sounds like you are in the process of finalising a deal with the French Co. Hopefully this will result in an affoarable alternative in the SA market, without a significant portion of the engine cost being ties up i...
