Thanks Jabi430!!
I love the look of this machine!! Would also like to know the price!
When one looks at the RV range of aeroplanes, then the side by side ones (RV4,6,7 and 9) are way more popular than the tandem ones............just an observation.

Re: Calidus
It sure looks very sleek and sexy!! How comfortable is it tough? Is the Xenon not a better "social" machine and does it not offer more comfort??

Re: Wanted- something to fly!!!
I agree with my friend, Flip. If you need a Quad Bike with wings, it should be a Bantam 6. (took me two years, flying everything I could lay my hands on, to decide). Very safe, powerfull, fun to fly, even in the worst of gusty crosswinds. All I am saying is: CHECK IT OUT. If U are stingking rich, b...

Re: Wanted- something to fly!!!
Guys,
Read my first post again please!
Sorry guys, no trikes or powered paragliders.Nkwazi, I can remember giving a budget, if it's a bargain and something I want, I will pay for it.
I am going to narrow my search down to something that can run on mogas as well though.

Wanted- something to fly!!!
Now that I have (hopefully!! :| ) secured hangar space at Mosselbay, the search is on for "something" to fly and here I have a wide scope and an open mind (well what's left of it anyway!! :P ). So here is the deal: It could either be a 1.) single engine aeroplane, (2) helicopter or (3) gyro. 1.) Sin...

Re: Where is this site hosted??
Morph,
Thanks. I am asking because for the past week I battled to get into AvCom but have no problem with microlighters. I have not been able to get into AvCom at all for the past two days. AvCom is hosted somewhere in Europe and I can't get into another site in Europe as well.

Re: Raped again
If you know of a different supplier of rotax parts please point me there... Stephan, I thought so, that's why I asked the question. So you have three choices, either buy from them, import from overseas or get another agency going in SA for these parts. Do you think they are overcharging or do you k...

Re: Xenon Gyro
If anybody else insure theirs, please tell me. vhpy Whirly. Whirly, I also insure mine against fire and theft (all risks) while on the ground. In fact, the policy specifies that the cover does not apply if the rotor is turning. for R500k cover it costs me R680 p.m. which I personally think is very ...
