Re: Crop Sprayers
Firstly, these guys don't have to talk on the radio and we are not suppose to be flying under 500ft. The last thing you want to do when you are flying at 130kts 10ft above the ground scanning the area in front of you for powerlines, big birds ( cranes, spurwing goose, ducks etc ) uneven terrain and ...

Re: Reducing engine noise
Yep, just check out Richard's Bush Baby with the 582 at Morningstar. The prop on that aerie is just unbelievable. That 582 is dead quiet in the air with that prop. A two blade wooden prop on a 503 is much louder than a 3 blade composite.

Interessting A22 Foxbat
Saw this A22 Foxbat in an overseas aviation magazine. It has CAPE TOWN written all over the float, but a N register number. Maybe it's on it's way to a local touring operator or there's a place in USA that's also named Cape Town. Looks like it have landing gear for landing on land also. Wonder how t...

Congrats Karl. I hope that now you have so much fun that you will reconsider selling the trike. And 11 months is not long at all. Hope you have many wonderful flights, and actually the real learning starts now.
