Re: Streak Shadow ZU – BHD, - new member – Based at Rhino
About a fly in, you been flying longer than me, so when do you think the weather is gonna be best for this, and how soon would you like us to do this? Would this be best planed as a day trip or an overnighter? I also have to wait for Jas to get this ATF with his engine mod, then we will be 4 shadows...

Re: Streak Shadow ZU – BHD, - new member – Based at Rhino
I was checking builders projects on EAA site, 10 feb 08, there was a guy by the name of Jan Jacobs from Kempton Park building a Streak Shadow. Tried to email him and seems the email address no longer exists. Does anyone know this character or anything about the plane? From what i've found out the Sh...

Re: Fuel Tank - Cleaning
HI, You need to think about this carefully. You cant afford to have loose dirt floating in the tank. I use neet unleaded fuel to dilute any two stroke that may have remained after fuel has evaporated. It may have become thick and may take a couple of rinses. You will also have to try pour the fuel o...

Re: Leaking Fuel Tank
Ok! S you a boffin with the computer. Almost perfect. The sendor mount is on the side, not on top. I was looking for something fuel resistant that i could use like a gasket maker. No one seems to have a product that is fuel resistant. I could make a new back plate with a gasget between, but without ...

Re: Leaking Fuel Tank
Sorry, battled to attach a picture. I'm not a computer geek. Its a regular car type float sendor. The problem is that the craft has a top tank that feeds a bottom tank and the sendor is on the side of the bottom tank. the fuel eventually stars to seep through all the areas where there bolts with thr...

This is the first time i,m trying this, i,m useless with computers. Never tried a forum before.
I own a Shadow and have had endless problems with a fuel float switch leaking at the flange and the centre pin. will this "Dragon snot" work in this area?
