Re: New ZEN Gyrocopter Agent - Altair

Vat julle Motorhomes as trade inns? Bonzai Ons doen, maar jy moet ons maar eers op 'n sewe dae toer vat dat ons self die regte waarde van die motorhome kan bepaal. I suggest the guy sitting in the left seat doesn't prop-start any more aerries, it seems he's already lost a finger or two! ...

Re: New ZEN Gyrocopter Agent - Altair

During the weekends Botswana Air Show we had the honour of the President of Botswana, an accomplished pilot himself, visiting us. Even though the President didn't take Tinkerbell up on her invitation for a flip, he still took the time and effort to visit. Here Tinkerbell can be seen explaining the i...

Re: Avg Cost of Gyro Licence?

Alan
I think the going rates are:
Instructor R 500 - R 600 per hour
Hire of flight school gyro: R 500 per hour
Fuel for 1 hour training: R 300

Depending on the person, anything between 25 to 40 hours training.

I am not sure about ground school fees and the cost of the study material.

Confirmed ????
Not confirmed yet, I think we will only know next week.

+- R 1500-00 for ATF for a single return flight is a bit steep.

Steve I don't think it has ever been to South Africa, nor was the photo taken in South Africa. I think it belongs to a guy, can't remember his name, that stays for six months in Europe and six months in SA. It was suppose to come to SA, hence the registration numbers, but the owner decided to keep i...

Re: NIC PRINSLOO

I agree with everybody, there is just too much doubt about Mr Nic Prinsloo's and his Eagle Aviation's ethic to even consider doing business with him. Unfortunately he is not the only one in the gyro fraternity that has a bad track record and there is some horror stories about other people and compan...

Herewith a few things we learned on this trip: Double check Centugyro's understanding of the departure time Railway lines change from AC to DC at Ermelo Piet Retief was an independent state for 5 years from 1886 to 1891 Don't trust the security guard at Kosi Bay air...
