Re: Rotortec Clouddancer finally being shipped

Hi I understand there was a gyrocopter accident at Dahlem-Binz, Germany on 28th May 2014 ( yesterday ). The photos show a complete burn out - just the rotors remaining. A news link tells us that the 71 year old pilot suffered serious injuries. The rotors appear to be white with red blocks - similar ...

Re: SA CAA accident data - March 2014

Mak - Many Thanks for the link. Rolled over and caught fire - sounds like the end of RKC.

I hope the pilot get airborne again soon.

Re: What would be the/your perfect Gyro??

Hi Eben,

Yes 600 of the type since the early 1990s but 93% of these were built over in Canada by the now defunct R.A.F of Canada. The RAF 2000 has some history.

""Which gyro companies build today with the Subaru - RAF SA - approx 40 gyro delivered plus some home builds.""

The highest RAF SA construction number i've seen is ship #039 - registered in 2013. What's...

Any news on this interesting machine would be welcome and some photos too if possible - thanks.

I couldn't find anything on the broader WWW either. If possible can you confirm the the basic info - date & location - th...
