Same thing with us. Almost all the trasmissions have huge amounts of interfearance and you can't hear a thing. on any other frequency its fine but 124.8 eish!! We have a Icom A5 and a Vee-Rabbit on the trike and usually we can transmit fine (on any frequency including 124.8 ). Hearing people is fine...

What medical do you have? Class 4, Class 2, Class 1? I have heard of pilots flying with diabetes. You have to wait for your body to stabilise and get used to diabetes but after that you should be fine. My uncles friend is currently going through a similar thing but he has been told when it stabilise...
