Re: NIC PRINSLOO
Mike-Echo-Charlie (Disclaimer - I'm not a lawyer!) However, I would open a case of Theft under False Pretences. Although you would need to seek a separate civil judgment against him to get your money back, securing a criminal conviction of fraud/ theft under false pretences may help the gentleman co...

Re: LED Light Interference
I had a similar problem on a previous aircraft after fitting led strobes - interference on radio etc. Replacing the existing wiring to the led units with thicker / higher capacity wiring sorted out the problem.

Re: NIC PRINSLOO
So I'm not saying that the person named in this topic is involved. And I'm not saying that he isn't. I wasn't involved first hand so I'll refrain from mentioning names... But purely to cite an example of the raptor sculduggery that goes on with some agents/brokers out there, today I met a stu...

Re: That game of darts...
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1358183 Interesting......... The drone is using servos to change the CoG relative to the "wing" (which in this instance is a series of ducted fans) - so I concur that this is weight-shift. But as a stupid person (and not wishing to argue) I can't see ...

Re: That game of darts...
Thanks crazydoc, but you know, the more I try to learn about rotor aerodynamics - the more I realise what an immensely complicated subject it is - so much so that I certainly don't see this as a "who is right who is wrong" situation - all of us may be at slightly different points along the road to r...

I am no expert and do not hold there qualifications.....so it is difficult to not believe them......is it not??????? I will pick t...

Re: That game of darts...
You can not change the pitch of the blades...etc. Place your rotor at the 9'oclock and 3 o'clock position i.e cross-wise to the gyro. ask someone to pull back on the cyclic while you stand in line with the advancing rotor and observe what happens to the AOI - or the "pitch" of the blade. I have don...

Re: That game of darts...
Hi crazydoc, Yes, You change the rotor disc AOA to your forward motion as well as shifting the weight by introducing an outside force to another force via your controle stick. You can not change the pitch of the blades like in a helicopter. Regards Please do me one little favour... Place your rotor...
