Air sickness vs exhauast fumes poisoning.
We are inclined to assume this is airsickness. Is there not just the small possibility this is an engine fumes thing? Carbon monoxide, dioxides etc. I understand CO attaches itself to the red blood cells & does not let go, hence there is gradual asphixia, with nausea etc. etc.

"My mother swears by wrist straps that have a ball attached that presses on a pressure point on your wrists. She sent me a pair and will give them a shot." I am trying to visualise this but it occurs to me that the pressure on the ball will take your mind off the air sickness. You are lucky ...

Hot high & Humid
I have not flown for some 4 weeks (Duxford Airshow got in the way). Just in conversation with 2 trike pilots over the last couple of days they have noticed the longer take off runs. This invoked some lively discussion and we concluded, nice warm mornings & evenings, up on the highveld, throw in some...

Here's what I hope to see (special interest in the merlins and hunter avons - I love that sound: Display Times SAT 1200-122...

Those Key Magafters on the wind charts
I have been scratching around on the weather sites but can not find any descriptor for those little keylike symbols on the charts (Demon's Todays Weather post). Can anyone shed some light here?
