Hi Dave, Lovely reading, you are clearly enjoying yourself, doing what you are so passionate about - just got back from a week end at the Battlefields Lodge, and you are so right, as nice as our coast line is, we have some magnificant areas inland of the coast. Coen, I will certainly be in line if y...

It is important to remember that the header tank cannot bleed itself of air, so important to remember to confirm full header tank as part of pre flight.

Hi Zulu1, you would'nt happen to be launcing a Mode S transponder in the new future now would you :D

ps - I am in need of a stand alone chatter box, do you sell them seperately, as I have fitted your system in my trike, and now want to use it in my Bushbaby, using the existing headsets?

Thanks CFD, I am on the other side of the country from Boet, but I am sure that with some basic drawings and the right equipment from him, I will also get brakes that work! I am a bit concerned about Boet's comments w.r.t. brake fluid on the covering, while I try and be as diligent as possible ensur...

KFA, I read with interest that you are replacing your linings soon, are these disc or drums? I went though the compatability issue, took a number of very frustrating days to work out - eventually got brake fluid compatible seals, but still sit with the current problem. Boet, to buy the equipment ins...

Bushbaby Hyraulic Brakes

I am also the proud owner of a new Bushbaby, but I am very dissapointed with the hydraulic brakes. They came with the plane, and despite my best intentions, I have not been able to get them to hold the plane for a static power check, even at 4000 rpm (912S) I was even contemplating enquiring whether...

I have just fitted the intercom system made by Paul and after the first flight today, Empangeni to Hluhluwe and back, am very happy with it.

It's a real joy having music in the back ground, which cuts out automatically when both receiving and transmitting.

Well done Paul (^^)

Insurance

Looking for some advice / comments on liability. I recently suffered some damage to my Bushbaby, although it is insured, I was not PIC, but for various reasons, I ended up paying the excess. I have for some time been lending my triike out to a friend who is in my opinion a good pilot. However, after...
