Re: Non avi: Broken into South of JHB

We are currently profiling criminals in our area. Was it a clean hit-and-run for the TV only, or were other things stolen as well ? No grabbed a laptop, Ipods, Polar heart monitor watch, walked through and picked up Jewelry box and my wifes handbag, sons PS3 (poor little guy is devastated, he trade...

Why Airplanes Are Easier to Live With Than Women:

Airplanes don’t object to a preflight inspection. Airplanes come with manual to explain their operation. Airplanes have strict weight and...

Re: SAD SIGHT

The really heartbreaking part about this story is that the aircraft are actually considered mid-life, and it was actually a book keeping error that led to their demise. #-0 #-0 This was later compounded by the fact that the SAAF later found a warehouse full of spares that would have kept the aircra...

Re: CAA to ban microlights and private airfields

With Zuma in place we will enjoy private airfields and micro flying in Sandton City you will be allowed to land on the roof parking, it is about 300 meters so a Cheetah should be able to land without a problem

Other than that, no confirmation of Lic renewal yet. ## Are you sure they were not scouting for the crooks where the guns are.........

Re: RAF

I recently had the privelege to spend some time with Eben snr at the RAF factory in Upington. Asked many questions, and got the answers I am looking for. I now look at this machine with different eyes. There is a similarity between flying a Gyro, and flying a trike. In both instances you are "flyin...
