Final update on the issue. Needles raised to bottom notch, newly installed flow meter removed - now EGTs do not go above 600, 550 - 575 in the cruise! Fuel consumption in the region of 15 l/hr! Yes indeed, Klipriver is about to take off again. I have been flying from here for the past 4 years...very safe field and now we also have great runways.....

hey guys. I read the latest notams re the maintenance of my 582....do I understand it correctly when it says that all work must be carried out by an approved AMO?...it is very confusing. hey guys...good to see that Klipriver is coming alive again. vhpy Just for the record, the 2 main runways have recently been cleaned up and a 10 ton roller used to flatten it....They are now awsome. ..smooth as a baby's ...well smooth..... vhpy I fly from there in my Bushbaby and love it. vhpy ........

hey guys...I can only speak from a fixed wing perspective....A Bushie with a normal 912 (80hp) performs less than a Bushie with a 582...reason, weight. However, if you talking 912S (100hp).....then it is a completeley different matter....those extra 20 ponies make a huge difference.. also only my 2 ...

last year CAA would not give me my Authority to Fly without a valid radio license.... :shock: :shock: I use a portable radio in my aerie. So, you have been warned....only costa about R50 a year, so just get it...saves you all the hassles.
