Did anyone else heard this 'rumor' that the oil is not produced anymore. A friend of mine - not on list - also got the same feedback and is looking at a shell alternative. Is Aviations Engines still on the list - maybe he can give us some feedback / info? I've still got about 5 bottles left so I'm i...

Castrol Super Chainsaw Oil?

I used to get my Castrol Super Chainsaw Oil from Midas Centurion (by the box) - Now they claim that oil is out of production. Can anyone comment on that?

P.S. Sorry if this question has been asked - I could not find any reference.

I beg to difffer: those running with mechanical diesel pumps are older engines and does not produce the same amount of power /cc or power/weight. That Polo tdi will most propably be electronic injection. The injector pump only produces high pressure diesel while electronic valves determine the exact...

When I did these maps I spoke to some one that knows about them a bit more. If the centre Miridian is not specified it will be the centre of the map e.a. 28° E for the map mentioned. In my opinion the best way to learn to use a GPS is to use it as much as possible, starting with using the simple ...

Could you give me an idea of the weights of the motor and the battery pack? Also what would the price be?

I have different application and only need to get to 2000' - You know some of us don't like noisy engines!

I have used a 300mm PVC Pipe for my topless Hang Glider and it worked fine except for a connection on the wing that caused dammage to the leading edge material. The pipe is still at Aviators Paradise. Someone else uses it now since I fly the Atos. In my opinion wings are best carried on a well padde...

Remember we are climbing at about 400 ft/min and going at only 32 Knots, that is about 16m/s forward and about 2m/s upward meaning we climb out at about 7 degrees. The propwash however in ...

Sunday we had all sorts of weird weather systems pulling through.

As I said: The Tug is on 124.8. If you have a nice thermal close to Aviators - let us know! The tug only tows up to 2000'AGL but the Hangies want to be with you!
