Re: Raped again

The Radiator Cap 922070 can be purchased from California Power Systems at $80-00 and the thermostat 922511 for $95-00. Please understand that these parts are expensive from Rotax and that we do not mark our parts up ridiculously high.

I have been told by CAA that although the Alternative Maintenance Schedule has been approved, it cannot be implemented until the AIC has been released, which is expected soon, please contact CAA for further information.

Re: Rotax "new"maintanance schedule

Firstly, Thank you for all the positive sentiments and I am glad that we have finally reached this milestone. I know that Mike Blyth and Aeroclub are still working on making further changes to the regulations, which, I have been told, is a long term matter. I would also like to thank certain persons...

We are currently working with CAA on finding a solution, we hope to finalise something by the end of this week and inform everyone accordingly.

As a long term solution, Mike Blyth is also busy with the amendments to the regulations.

Always happy to assist.
I would also like to take the opportunity to ask everyone to register on www.rotax-owner.com to receive automatic updates of service documents.

The site is a joint venture of the americans and canadians nd has proven to be most informative.

Rotax 912/914 TBO times

I've been contacted about this matter - someone on the forum has mentioned/indicated/stated that Rotax 912/914 engines have a 5 year overhaul requirement, this is completely incorrect.
