Mine stood for 5 years in a barn after the owner was killed in another trike. Turned it over primed it and it started 4th pull, ran for 10 hours (flying ) bearing checked all good , monitored it for the next 50 hours, no change now has close on 200 hours. and still going strong.

Really think he stuffed the landing , misread the waves and landed in deeper water , but he survived but i think it shows you can survive a water landing in an open trike as well.

Hi I wondered if any one here flies from an airfield around this area
i see there is a field reletivly close by , reason being
i will be out at xmas and wanted to catch up on the local scene and maybe get a quick flp around the patch
