Re: New Radical STOL aircraft to help anti-poaching
Interesting topic, I am involved with counter poaching work (honorary officers) with one of the provincial parks boards. We use trikes quite often but are looking into funding a full time aircraft in the parks. Bush cats, bat hawks, Savannah's are all on our list. As a voluntary self funded group co...

Re: Low Flying over Borakolo this Sunday
HI all, yes Borakalalo has been a hotspot in terms of rhino poaching for the North West Parks and Tourism Board so they are very sensitive to any aircraft over the reserve. My phone was buzzing on Sunday with reports from Bora. We are all aware of the scale of poaching (189 rhino's so far this year)...

Re: Micro Flips (rates 30 min flip – R1000 60 min flip – R1500)
hey all, a year ago at Vic Falls I paid $120 (so close to R1000) for a 15 min flip..(and that is with a 912 and gliding.. )..seems to me R1000 for an hour is a bargain from a tourist's point of view..it sure beats R300 for 6 or 7 min in a helichopter. Legalities aside I reckon not bad pricing ...

Re: Rhino Poaching by helicopter
Using a helicopter to poach in a game reserve... not exactly discreet is it? Even if the registration is masked... identifying a heli in an area by type and colour shouldn't be too difficult? And why bother with darting when it would be much simpler to just shoot the rhino? In fact, if a well organ...

Re: SHARKS RULE OK
A man walked into a very high-tech bar. As he sat down on a stool he noticed that the bartender was a robot. The robot clicked to attention and asked, "Sir, what will you have?" The man thought a moment then replied? "A martini please." The robot clicked a couple of times and mixed the best martini ...

Ja well.......Seems to me that Misasa is doing a hell of a lot to resolve the issue and doing it in a constructive and positive way that will help build a good long term relationship with CAA. Their fault seems to be in communicating this to the membership. Now the "stuff Misasa, what do they do for...
