Bantam World Record - Numbi, Hazyview 18 June '11

Hope you guys can see this.

It is our official patch for setting the World Record of 48 Bantams together at Bagdad Airstrip outside White River and then taking off one after the other an flying over Nelspruit in line-astern formation

Yes Guys it was an AWESOME event!! Andrew Pappas, Koos de Wet and there team from Lowveld Aero Club did a truly fantastic job. For those coming for the breakfast fly-in just the following info: AVGAS is available at R 11.60 per L if you pay cash, with a card it's R 12.20 / L Breakfast is either R35 or R40 and self-help coffee is R2 Also we have excellent ablutions facilities. Was at the 90th SAAF Birthday - took my son out of school on Friday and we sat at the Air Force Memorial overlooking Swartkops Airforce Base. Hi Piet Yes most definitely we will! The problem being sometimes that some SPL and MPL pilots that want to come, fly for SAA / British Airways etc. as well and their schedules only allows them off on Sundays - as is the case with this event planned for 13 Feb. I agree Saturdays are better - but if y...
