Fuel Hoses

I want to replace the fuel hoses on a VW 2.1 Lt fuel injected. Cubby a/c.
Good Year 50 psi fuel hoses are available ( not interested in any Chinese junk ) but an opinion was expressed that the 200 psi needs to be used for fuel injected engines.
Comments please.

Re: Illegal flying

A/C inspected on the 16th August and forms sent off on the 18th by registered post. Eventually received by RAASA about the 11th September. ATF issued and posted on the 16th September according to RAASA. It is now the 1st November and still no ATF. Tried the tracking "service" which does not work. Ev...

Post Office Strike

For those of you who are not aware of it the postal workers have been on strike in Gauteng for the last 3 weeks and nothing is being delivered. Sent my ATF renewal off on the 18th Aug and it is still lying around at the Germiston hub.It seems as if this is still going to go on for a few more weeks a...

Sent off forms RA24.2(b) and RA24.1 for ATF one week ago. There was nothing about insurance whatsoever.

Re: Ramp Inspection List

RV 12's list refers: 1) Over the last 5 years on how many occassions has someone used the First Aid kit "in anger". 2) If they want it signed then so be it. 3) Common sense. 4) That's a new one. More future confusion. 5) Surprised the a/c passed it's ATF. 6) If it keeps them happy then do it. 7) Kee...

Re: Weight shift training in Eastern Cape.

And if you fly a Tri-Cubby in Margate the nearest places to perhaps find a Tri-Cubby instructor would be JNB/Secunda or perhaps Mossel Bay. Total fuel cost about R1,600. That's a lot of money to waste on a totally non-productive exercise that these bi-annual checks are.

Re: altitude and hypoxia

Drove up to the summit of Mt Evans in Colorado. Alt 14,260'. This is the highest road in the USA. Spent over an hour walking and climbing around the top with no adverse effects. Also quite a few few old geezers wandering around who all looked pretty normal.

Re: MISASA 2014 subscription

Tried to pay subs using Aero Club "invitation" for 2014 system.
After selecting cart get message "Problem Website Security Certificate" with a strong recommendation to close link.
Now what to do?

Re: To the Green Winged Aquila who skimmed the waves at Rams

Over the years how many aircraft have hit the water doing low flying over the sea or suffered an engine out when doing the same? I cannot recall one instance being reported but perhaps someone has statistics on hand proving otherwise.

Re: Escourt Ultra City Discussion

124.8 would be a better bet.
Is the length of 500m confirmed to be correct ?
Keep in mind that in summer the Density Altitude could be 6-7,000'.
