Wow, it would be interesting to hear what happened there. Was it private land that was occupied? Whoever created the runway must have invested some good money there.

I have a David Clark headset that runs off the power pack shown below (female 10 pin). Some people (pax) prefer to use their own GA headsets. David Clark does not supply an adapter/cord with a male 10 pin male connector (to the pack) to GA female plugs. Anybody know if these can be made up? Thanks, L.

Just remember that your TAS goes up by approx 2%/1000ft. So if you are in Gauteng your ASI will indicate about 10-12% less than TAS.
