Re: Flying Cape Town
The pictures are awesome. Can someone please recommend best mounting position on the gyro for scenic flights from 500 - 1000 ft agl. Which camera would be the best choice - GoPro etc? Can one remotely take stills from the GoPro or only screen grabs? Any other info would be appreciated. Thanks, Lion.

Re: News from DownUnder
Hi T-bird,
I was in Brisbane a few years ago - also went to Caboolture and met the gyro guys there. Also met a long time friend Peet Pretorius ex Crosswinds (Tarlton airfield West Rand Area) owner who lives near there now for many years already.
Lion - Now flying in Auckland!

Re: Rotax 914 Servo motors
Hi Doug, what type of problems does the servo motor have? Is it on newer or older motors? I fly a M22 gyro - what type of ac do you fly? I have done more than 2000 hours on two 914 motors and never had any problems. The agents should be able to courier the part in within 48 - 72 hours but they will ...

Re: Help needed-building Gyro's in SA
I must say that the limited dealings I have had of late with the CAA, they have been an absolute pleasure. Quick, friendly and professional.
In my opinion we are fortunate in SA to have a contact person as Braam Hechter who goes out of his way to assist wherever he can.
