Yes I must admit I have really missed the flying!
Anyways, I have obtained the manual I was looking for, thanks!

Aquilla/Windlass info required please
Hi guys, I am busy registering my Windlass with Aquilla wing in Australia and I need a copy of the pilot operating manual ASAP. I never had one and obviously the guys over here are not familiar with the type so they want as much info as they can get. I'm afraid I don't want to wait for snail-mail so...

Thanks for sharing all this information, Morph. I am curious as to why a prop that is too coarse thus causing a high loading will increase the EGT's? I thought that the EGT's would be more a function of the RPM for a given engine/carb setup. If nothing else changes, will a specific engine/carb setup...

I agree with all the positive comments about Australia. I live in the Australia that Cloud Warrior describes (although I am thousands of kilometres away from him on the east coast). I have also lived in England for two years and have found Australia much more to my liking. We have found the people h...

Thank you so much for all the advice. Basically all I am going to do is the following: 1) Go to CAA and ask for a de-registration certificate. (They then take my original certificate of registration and Authority to fly from me and they keep it) 2) Pack my microlight and "post" it to myself in Austr...

Thanks for the advice once again. I was also thinking about putting some oil through the carbs to "moth-ball" the engine a little bit. McGuyver, can you confirm whether or not you needed an export airworthiness certificate or any other fancy paperwork? Or just de-registration certificate from CAA, a...

Exporting an aircraft to Australia
I would like to know what the procedure and paperwork required is for exporting an aircraft (in my case a collapsed microlight in a shipping crate) to Australia. Can I just let CAA know that I am doing this so that they can cancel my SA registration and then use my CAA airworthiness and registration...
