Just updated my logbook - after 140 hours of building I estimate I am 20% complete.

This bracket took about 4 hours to install - madness!!! Still loving the build.....

This weeks update.

I have removed the top skin off the pilot wing, installed all brackets, pitot tube, fuel tank and started reinstalling. Man this wing is taking forever.

Well after a long cold winter, summers here and it's time to get cracking with my build. I spent last night cleaning my garage and getting ready to finish the wing this weekend. My nav lights have arrived from Bundu - looking good.

Awesome news Andrew! I will be one of the first onlookers begging for a flip!

As summer approaches and the weather warms up, I am looking forward to spending some long hours in my garage. Building this winter in my cold garage wasn't great.

Finished crimping (made a crimping tool) and installed the wing tip. Now I need to install the nav lights (on order) and complete final assembly - then do it all over again on the next wing..

Thanks for the offer James. I am going to make one so I have it on hand for the next wing. I finished building the pilot wing wiring harness at Phils on Saturday - now to install. Still waiting for my nav lights. Coming along nicely. I hope to get in about 20 hours in this week.

Thanks for that - makes sense. I now need to get myself a pair of crimp pliers before I can continue.

Still need to figure out if I should drill the root skins to size.

Wing skin finished

PC's working again - pity I am not. I have been fighting this terrible flu for the past two weeks (still not over it). :oops: :oops: I have finished bending both wing skins and have drilled all holes to final size. Busy with the copilot wing skin - will upload photos when my pc returns from IBM (mother board fried).
