Re: Road Transport
Have already discussed that with him. The deal I have in Gauteng is just to complicated. Swopping plane for something else and it has become too much of a hassle. Got a very good prospect here for cash in Cape Town. I wait in antisipation. Then the flight is local.

Road Transport
Anybody know of a safe company or person to road transport a Challenger safely to Gauteng?
Could do it myself. Brought a Kitfox down from Tedderfield a few years back.
Rather not go through that experience again. Under pressure here at work and don't have the time.

Re: Electric Starter
Ok I did not know about that. Pity. For me to set up and make my starter motor which works brilliantly I would want to make at least 5 to 10 units to make it worth my while. The set up costs are too high just to make one. Plus I would have to see what current components prices are are since the last...

Ja. Thats the way its going to be I'm afraid. I have lost the desire to fly. Developing other interests. Just need to off load the Cahllenger and I will start to relax.

Re: Fuel Hose Clamps
Hey Grumps
You can get quality hose clamps from Wurth in Montague Gardens in Cape Town.
The edges are slight turned up so that they do not cut into the pipe and the quality is superior compared to the local crap.
That's what I use on my plane and on my machines etc at work.

Re: Electric Starter
With discussions with Ranger and myself we have just got all the costing done.
Bottom line is that it's going to cost you guys R4995.00. Cannot go cheaper than that.
If you are genuinely a committed buyer contact us.

Re: Electric Starter
Had a chat with Ranger yesterday. I will get all the costings together as it has been a while since I have put one of these together. From there I will give you guys an exact price. Please be patient with me as it will take a few days to call around for all the material and machining costings and pr...

Re: Electric Starter
Morph, if you and Ranger are interested I have this thing sorted. Can supply you specs. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye. The pulley's are not standard off the shelf. They have to be made up specifically. After teeth are cut on a dividing head you have to roll on the sides or the belt can...
