Ok, but what you are describing is mast-flexing, as is built into the RAF2000, not bending. If it's designed to do that fine, if not, it would worry me. Mak, I replaced the Altimeter that came with my Xenon with an ALT-3 dgital from MGL. Very easy to install and not only does it give you a digital readout of the altitude, but VSI and Density Altitude and some other things as well. It was not that expensive either. Very useful. Frans, daai twee spore op die foto is tog sekerlik nie die spore wat you gyro gemaak het met die landing nie is dit? Jetranger, Len,dis n negatief.Plaasboer Kobus het aangebied om vliegtiuh op te pas.Hierdie foto is geneem nadat ons daar weg is.Franss Plaasboer uitgevang hy pas nie die gyro op nie....

Hi Len, It was a big scare!!. Glen took my son for a flip and on their return flight they heard the maday call. and my sons first experience in a gyro sort of became a search and rescue.I hope Glen can fill us in on the details of their search and rescue.
