Re: Pilot's and bikers

I am a biker, and a pilot - Well sort-of, even though I have accumulated almost 500 flying hours I have not actually piloted a trike since last November. Still have a valid licence and still love airy's - Ja, I am a biker, and a pilot. Below my 2 boney's. Harley FatBob & BMW GSA. I have loved motorc...

Re: Airborn trikes

Hey Porra Checked my logbook and my Airborne Edge X 582 was Z172 My opinion, not ideal for a heavy guy at altitude, straight and level with just me in it she revved 5900rpm - needs a 912 for sure. Flies lekker but not a high lift wing at all, not sure of the other Airborne models. Build quality is g...

Re: WHY ARE SO FEW WOMEN FLYING RECREATIONALLY

Trikes are quite physical, I often found myself having to exercise some degree of strength in controlling the bar in turbulence (maybe it is because I am heavy and have to weightshift more weight) , my bet is that most ladies will find it tough to control the airy in the bumps - Could be wrong

Re: Deal done. All are boxing fans are waiting for this fight

Gonna be epic vhpy - I am not particularly concerned who wins, my head says Mayweather though, the man is a machine with no weaknesses, apparently there is a $100 bill built into his mouthguard - I take it back... I hope Pacquiao moers him!! ## ## vhpy

Re: Low Level RIP

Very sad to hear this.

Leon took me for my first flight in a Gyro a few years ago, we both shared a love of flying and of motorbikes, what a pleasant, nice guy

My thoughts and prayers are with Leon's family and friends at this sad time

Any Bothaville pilots?

Hi Guys

A friend of mine would like a photo taken from the air in near Bothaville

Any friendly pilots in that area willing to help?

Gratitude will of course be expressed in a bottle of whatever (^^)

Thanks
