Inconsistant idle

My 503 dcdi, has a very inconsistant idle, idles at 2200 rpm( approx) when cold, after a circuit or two it has dropped to 1800 rpm. Any ideas why. I'm flying from sea level, burning 96 octane and castrol 2t oil .About 600 hours on the engine

One more question,I've read two variations of where to measure the pitch degre...

First time assenbling the wing, the ribs got a bit of TLC from customs,so I paired them up (black tape to the right ) and shaped them to the more curved of the pair.Fitted all the curved battons ( bungeyed in) fitted the 4 straight battons in the 2nd an 4th velcroed pockets, but where do the half bat...

Re: prop advise needed

Morph I think its very similar here, its just the first permit to fly that is a bit dramatic, and being new to all this makes it worse.I've gotten it registered ZK_KIG ,the club IA has to do an anual inspection, placards have to be attached to damn near everthing,3 seperate logbooks have to be raised,e...
