Re: Trike pitot static check for ATF
Mark, I submitted my paperwork weeks ago, and although my AP is not certified to do those tests, CAA then unofficially gave those APs permission to do the pitot and compass tests. However, they need equipment (for the pitot) and he has been unable to source it. The other instructor (and AP) within 2...

Re: Buzzcom
Thanks. I've send him an email.
Unfortunately get the message
" This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
larry@buzzcom.co.za"
By my calculations., 4 wires to 8 pins makes a possible combination of over 1000! So best to get a diagram.

Buzzcom
Could anyone tell me whether Buzzcom is still in business?
Else, anyone who can help with the wiring of the lead between the radio and the Buzzcom unit?

Re: Deployed old ballistic chute
I've got one, which I was about to discard. Only problem with it is that the cap - (the bit which the "rocket" rips of the capsule) got lost somewhere. Davidl - do you still have that bit?

Starter Motor Rewiring?
I fly a Powered Hang Glider, the Zee, which has a Black Devil engin. This weekend I test-ran the engin, when the starter motor bendix, which engages the crown wheel to swing the prop, must have failed to disengaged after the engin started. The second picture shows the bendix still engaged after I st...

Re: Electric ultralights
Hi, The answer is the ZEE - contact Johan Anderson. I have one, but stopped flying it for the simple reason that I have a bad back and when there is a breeze the wing wants to fly and you need strength and a good back to control it. It is a tandem hang glider wing, attached to a mini-cart, with a pa...

Re: SICK AND TIRED OF RAASA!!!
This year I thought I'd give RAASA the benefit of the doubt, but it seems as if it is de ja vu all over again. Posted (postnet) my ATFs on 20/4, has been ready for collection since 24/4. Emailed them. No response to two emails. Phoned them, am told the person manning the info@raasa.co.za email addre...
