Hi Learjet The cracks in the MT’s mast is due to poor design Chromalloy would have cracked as well a few hours later but would have cracked. They had cracks on the VPM’s in the UK at 1700 hours. My Magni cracked on the radiator bracket weld. Not as serious as the mast but the radiator could have go...

vhpy Hi Hurst, I will guess that Microland is the nearest place where you can get your training. ( 20 min by car from Wierda park. ) If not the nearest then at least the best. No Problem, just don't do it to often! I am not sure how accurate the Octane in Africa is! I think 93 is in fact about 88 to 89 octane! Never flown a rattex on avgas!

Efis panels are FAR easier to install then steam gauges! FAR less wiring and with a little reading in the instrucions programing them is easier than you think!

Then Hang point is quite simple to figure out! It is usally over the passenger seat for the reason that there is always a pilot and engine on either side so you balance those two to be exactly the same to make the CG very close or not far aft! Fantastic Project! Looks almost like the DTA! About the brakes, I would go for two disk brakes on the rear with some lekka fat tires!
