Re: NIC PRINSLOO
I don't know the regs wrt NTCA or Gyro's, but I agree with the above posters. The first things I always ask when shopping, are the logbooks - ALL OF THEM. Although these are not the alpha and omega, any repairs, damage history, etc should be recorded in the logbooks. In the past, I also opted to wor...

Re: North meets South Gariep 22-22May 2011
Hi Guys, just a heads up: I've noticed quite a few gyro's buzzing my house and runway - I love it, but please, if you intend to land, do not use the short runway i.e. rwy 18/36. There's a stock fence on threshold 36 and an Eskom line about 100m from threshold 18. Most important though, this runway i...

I'm sure this has been asked a zillion times but here goes:  A friend of mine is interested to start flying and he specifically wants a gyro. Thanks alot to all so far!!! I just spoke to my friend on the phone and he's trying out two gyro's tommorow (RAF & Magni)   I don't know anything about gyro's. Anyway, I'm sure that trikes are not an option. I also told him that despite my lack of knowledge on these, I would not...

Which Ultralight??
A friend of mine want's to start flying and is looking to buy an 2 seat ultralight ( I think that's what they're called). He lives in the Kalahari and will probably use it more often for longer flights - 300nm +, than on the farm. He's not married - yet -, but will have a passenger most of the time ...
