Re: Something new for the microlight industry!!!

To be quite honest Alex I really hope that your airies are better in all respects as you have been claiming for the last 3 years. Fortunately I have never made these claims and have nothing to loose in this challenge. Good luck. Now can we sent this date as the breakfast is calling and many people w...

Re: Something new for the microlight industry!!!

Fantastic. Thanks for the offer. I guess all we need now is a date.

Also a good excuse for a breakfast.

Alex the date is in your court so to speak.

Should be fun.

Re: Something new for the microlight industry!!!

Leon I could not have said it better. The best thing to have done would to have been quietly develop the aircaft and suddenly suprise us local okes with this fantastic machine that does everything better. Ok Alex what date can we set?? Re: Something new for the microlight industry!!!

Ok Alex so put you money where your mouth is. You obviously have not seen the new cockpit that has more leg room. Price calculation on prevoius post was at R13.40 to the pound. Firstly I must state that I support everything you are doing and local is lekker. But I do not support you or anyone who t...

Re: Something new for the microlight industry!!!

Dear Alex. I really am not sure where you are getting your prices on the QuikR and Quik GT450 from. Not me. The correct prices of the aircraft landed in South Africa ex Vat are as follows. QuikR: R394 000.00 Quik GT450: R363 000.00. These aircraft all have passed the toughest testing process in the ...

Re: New Topless QickR

So true George. That is exactly why one of the current GT owners wants the wing as he already uses his GT to travel all over the country on jobs and the new wing will just make it easier and quicker. Plus you can easly fold it up while still on the Trike for an overnight or bad weather.

Re: New Topless QickR

A couple!! Lets look at baby steps and start with the first one. Going to get the CAA side sorted first. Sadly everyone compares the price of the GT and QuikR to other trikes. But you just can't anymore. You almost have to compare it to aircraft in its performance class now. When you do this you fin...

Re: New Topless QickR

No changes to the undercarriage. So if you have a GT450 with a 912S and change just the wing you now have a QuikR.

Long term plans now are to improve the undercarriage and make it more aerodynamic. But this will only happen in a few years.

Re: New Topless QickR

Hi All. Yes I have just arrived back from the soggy wet UK. Finally got to fly to QuikR or Quicker as they call it. Yes it is quicker. Yes she is really a dream to fly. Very stable. No odd quirks that I could find. I arrived from Scotland in Rochdale at the factory about mid day. Weather was looking...
